In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Mohan Gopalrao Mate of BJP won in this constituency beating Girish Krushnarao Pandav of INC by a margin of 3,987 votes which was 02.06% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kohale Sudhakar Vitthalrao of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Chaturvedi Satish of INC by a margin of 43,214 votes which was 23.58% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dinanath Deorao Padole of INC won this seat defeating Kishor Ratanlal Kumeriya of SS by a margin of 30,395 votes which was 19.3% of the total votes polled for the seat.
