Nandurbar comprises of the following areas of Nandurbar district in the North region of Maharashtra: Shahada Tehsil (Part) Revenue Circle - Kalsadi, Prakasha, Sarangkheda, Vadali, Nandurbar Tehsil (Part) Revenue Circle - Korit, Khondamali, Ranale, Nandurbar and Nandurbar (MC).

This constituency covers an approximate area of 1223.28 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 21°25'35.0"N 74°25'30.7"E.

A total of five Assembly constituencies in the state of Maharashtra share borders with Nandurbar constituency, which are: Shahada, Shirpur, Sindkheda, Sakri, Nawapur. This constituency shares an inter-state border with Tapi district of Gujarat.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Vijaykumar Krushnarao Gavit of BJP won in this constituency beating Udesing Kocharu Padvi of INC by a margin of 69,870 votes which was 37.07% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Gavit Vijaykumar Krushnarao of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Vasave Kunal Batesing of INC by a margin of 27,118 votes which was 14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Gavit Vijaykumar Krushnarao of NCP won this seat defeating Natawadkar Suhasini Suhas of BJP by a margin of 23,858 votes which was 13.18% of the total votes polled for the seat.
