In 2014, Munde Pankaja Gopinathrao of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Dhananjay Panditrao Munde of NCP by a margin of 25,895 votes which was 13.24% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Pankaja Gopinathrao Munde of BJP won this seat defeating Munde Trimbak Patloba of INC by a margin of 36,062 votes which was 21.57% of the total votes polled for the seat.
