In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Kedar Sunil Chhatrapal of INC won in this constituency beating Rajeev Bhaskarrao Potdar of BJP by a margin of 26,143 votes which was 12.35% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kedar Sunil Chhatrapal of INC was the winner in this seat beating Vinod Bapuraoji Jivtode (Guruji) of SS by a margin of 9,209 votes which was 4.93% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Kedar Sunil Chhatrapal of INC won this seat defeating Deshmukh Ashish Ranjit of BJP by a margin of 3,472 votes which was 1.98% of the total votes polled for the seat.
