In 2014, Ajay Choudhari of SS was the winner in this seat beating Bala Nandgaonkar of MNS by a margin of 41,909 votes which was 28.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Bala Dagdu Nandgaonkar of MNS won this seat defeating Dagdu (Dada) Sakpal of SS by a margin of 6,463 votes which was 4.59% of the total votes polled for the seat.
