In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Siddharth Anil Shirole of BJP won in this constituency beating Datta Bahirat of INC by a margin of 5,140 votes which was 03.83% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Vijay Kale of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Nimhan Vinayak Mahadev of INC by a margin of 22,047 votes which was 14.84% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Nimhan Vinayak Mahadev of INC won this seat defeating Prof Vikas Mathkari of BJP by a margin of 20,530 votes which was 15.85% of the total votes polled for the seat.
