In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ranajagjitsinha Padmasinha Patil of BJP won in this constituency beating Chavan Madhukarrao Deorao of INC by a margin of 22,782 votes which was 09.96% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Chavan Madhukarrao Deorao of INC was the winner in this seat beating Gore Jeevanrao Vishwanathrao of NCP by a margin of 29,610 votes which was 13.62% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Chavan Madhukarrao Devrao of INC won this seat defeating Deshmukh Subhash Sureshchandra of BJP by a margin of 16,333 votes which was 8.31% of the total votes polled for the seat.
