In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Bornare Ramesh Nanasaheb of SS won in this constituency beating Abhay Kailasrao Patil of NCP by a margin of 58,818 votes which was 30.02% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Bhausaheb Patil Chikatgaonkar of NCP was the winner in this seat beating R M Wani of SS by a margin of 4,709 votes which was 2.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, R M Wani of SS won this seat defeating Patil Bhausaheb Ramrao of IND by a margin of 1,225 votes which was 0.73% of the total votes polled for the seat.
