In 2014, Om Prakash of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Kamlesh of INLD by a margin of 4,573 votes which was 4.74% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Narender Singh of HJCBL won this seat defeating Bhana Ram of INLD by a margin of 3,392 votes which was 4.3% of the total votes polled for the seat.
