In 2014, Subhash Sudha of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Ashok Kumar Arora of INLD by a margin of 25,638 votes which was 19.91% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Ashok Kumar Arora of INLD won this seat defeating Ramesh Gupta of INC by a margin of 8,285 votes which was 9.21% of the total votes polled for the seat.
