In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Sri Krishan Hooda of INC won in this constituency beating Yogeshwar Dutt of BJP by a margin of 4,840 votes which was 03.94% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Sri Krishan of INC was the winner in this seat beating Dr Kapoor Singh Narwal of INLD by a margin of 5,183 votes which was 4.3% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Sri Krishan of INC won this seat defeating Kapoor Singh Narwal of INLD by a margin of 25,343 votes which was 26.76% of the total votes polled for the seat.
