In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Dr. Raghuvir Singh Kadian of INC won in this constituency beating Vikram Kadian of BJP by a margin of 12,952 votes which was 11.09% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Dr Raghuvir Singh Kadian of INC was the winner in this seat beating Chatar Singh of IND by a margin of 4,493 votes which was 3.86% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dr Raghubir Singh of INC won this seat defeating Chatar Singh of IND by a margin of 5,176 votes which was 5.41% of the total votes polled for the seat.
